This was the wedding that had it all, from the stunning Selby Abbey to the beautifully elegant De Grey Rooms in York. Nothing was left out and the attention to detail from Stephen & Kelly was nothing short of inspirational and it really added the personal touch to there big day. Did I mention they surprised there dinner guests with singing waiters who got the entire room dancing and singing along!
Getting ready in Selby it was a hop, step and a jump to the amazing Selby Abbey. Even on market day it was the perfect backdrop for any wedding and this was no exception. The sun shone bright and blessed the bride and groom for the rest of the day.
Heading to the De Grey Rooms in York we got caught in the unusually busy traffic due to York Pride. So all the bride and groom shots had to be put on hold until after the meal but that's just how a wedding day goes and I was happy to wait until Stephen & Kelly were ready. We made it onto the streets of York just after 7pm and I'm so glad we did, managing to squeeze in shots outside the minster, on high petergate, Stonegate and even Minster gardens in less than an hour! Hectic but well worth it.
I like to wish the new Mr & Mrs Garbutt all the happiness for the future and thank you again for choosing Jammy Photography
